Group VP-Global Services
David Vaporean is Group Vice President-Global Services, Business Development and Trade for Swiss Devco Corporation, a privately held Aerospace and Technology Services company based in the United States. Swiss Devco operates business centers in Brussels, Dublin, Dubai, New Delhi, Sydney, Singapore, Seoul and Tokyo.
In this role, Mr. Vaporean oversees all business development for Aerospace Logistics Technology Services, IT Services, Network Services and Counter Trade Programs for Swiss Devco. Swiss Devco provides value added Aerospace supply chain, logistics, forward deployment and fulfillment technology, IT integration services, consulting and advisory services, advanced network architecture, and managed services to government and commercial enterprise customers.
Mr. Vaporean previously served as Managing Director of Channel and Integration Services at Time Warner Cable’s Spectrum Enterprise Group. In this leadership role he led the rapidly growing Business Services Channel, serving over 300 Channel and System Integrator business partners accounting for over 30% of total annualized revenue for the Spectrum Enterprise Business Unit from 2012-2018.
Prior to that, Mr. Vaporean served as Managing Director of Hewlett Packard Global Services for Defense, Intelligence and Network Services. In this leadership role, Mr. Vaporean led employees in 40 countries making it the fastest growing business unit in the enterprise. Mr. Vaporean served in various leadership roles with HP Technology Solutions Group, HP Services, Compaq and Digital Equipment Corporation. During 20 years of professional and leadership work at Hewlett Packard Mr. Vaporean managed business practices involving government program pursuit and capture, global network service provider programs, systems integration and consulting, operations management services, strategy, sales and business development, sales operations, marketing, investment banking and offset credit syndication.
Mr. Vaporean is a graduate of Pepperdine University, Graziadio School of Business and Management, where he earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with PKE Honors in Strategy and International Business. He completed Juris Doctor curriculum at WSU College of Law and served as a contributor to the Law Review and Moot Court advocate. Mr. Vaporean earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics and Communications from California State University and Pepperdine University. As an undergraduate Mr. Vaporean played Varsity Baseball at Pepperdine as well as served as an associate editor for the school newspapers “Daily Titan” and “The Graphic” respectively. Mr. Vaporean is an avid sailor, noted conservationist, mountaineering enthusiast and amateur archeologist.
